Product Photography: Let the Material Do the Talking

From the working archive. Product photography is often less about adding more and more about removing what is unnecessary. Glass needs controlled reflection. Metal needs shape. Fabric needs texture. Wood needs enough side light to reveal the grain without making it look overworked.
I build the frame around the material first and the branding second. That produces photographs that can work across a product page, social campaign, press release or printed literature while still feeling consistent with the company behind them. Clean does not have to mean sterile.
